Attorney Profile

Neal is a trial attorney who primarily represents individuals, businesses, and insurance companies predominately in the areas of insurance defense litigation and commercial litigation. He has experience representing a diverse group of clientele-from nationally recognized companies to regional businesses and individuals-who need a committed trial attorney. Because of his prior experience as a prosecutor, Neal is also comfortable and confident representing individuals accused of committing criminal offenses of all levels, from Class C Misdemeanors to First Degree Felony offenses, on a case-by-case basis. Neal also has experience handling family law matters concerning divorces or child custody disputes.

Neal began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Texas Attorney General’s Office in the Law Enforcement Defense Division. At the AG’s Office, he represented state law enforcement employees and their agencies in federal and state court, gaining invaluable civil federal jury trial experience. After that, Neal was an Assistant Criminal District Attorney at the Lubbock County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. As an ADA, Neal prosecuted a wide-array of criminal cases, taking to trial numerous felony and misdemeanor offenses.

Away from the office, Neal and his wife, Libby, spend most of their time raising their daughter, Norah. The Spradlins are happy to call Lubbock home.
